Quarter Deck
The Quarter Deck
is a Cool and Comfortable First Floor Room with a Full Private Bath. Stretch out on the
Luxurious King Size Bed or Relax in the Huge Overstuffed Chair with
Ottoman. In addition to the King Size Bed, the Quarter Deck also has a Twin Size Day Bed, a Large
Closet, a Writing Desk, a Small, Electric 'Wood Burning' Stove just for
you and Hardwood Floors.
This Room offers Easy Access to the Front Door, the Library and the
Breakfast Room - it does not have a water view. It is our only
Guest Room on the Ground Floor.
If you have
accessibility issues, this is the room of choice for you. However,
please note that the full bathroom has a standard tub/shower combination
with hand rail for stepping in and out of the tub.
* A third person can be accommodated in
this room using the twin size day bed at an additional cost of $25 per
night which includes full breakfast.

Captain’s Cabin
Our most
popular room, the Captain's Cabin on the Second Floor is
where the original Sea Captain slept in style. This Spacious
Room at the Center of the House has a Full Private Bath with a Grand
Step-up Tub/Shower en suite. Enjoy Commanding Views of Port Clyde Harbor from
the Queen Size Bed or from the Large Writing Desk. The Captain's
Cabin has Two Comfortable Wing Chairs, a Big Closet and a Small, Electric
'Wood Burning Stove' just
for you.
* A third person can be accommodated in
this room using our small, folding bed at an additional cost of $25 per
night which includes full breakfast.

Harbor View
The Harbor View
is a Warm and Welcoming Space on the Second Floor with a Queen
Size Bed and Views of the main Harbor from Two Windows. This
Medium sized room offers a bureau, a writing desk, a chair for relaxing
by the window, and a Private bath in the room. The sink is
separate from the shower and toilet. (Please see room pictures below). There is Easy Access to the second floor exterior deck.

Port
Hole
The Port Hole
is a Romantic and Sweet Second Floor Room at the top of the stairs. This
Small Second floor room has a Soft Reading Chair and one westerly facing, softly
curtained Window - a nice breeze blows in. The view is limited. The Cozy
Full Size Bed has a Memory Foam Mattress Topper. The Port Hole Room has a
Closet, a small Writing Desk and a Private Bath in the room.

Wake with the
Morning Sunshine
in the Cheery East Tide
- Perfect for Early Risers. Decorated with touches from our
Cottage on Nantucket Island, this Small Second Floor Room has One
Full Size Bed with Memory Foam Mattress
Topper, a Writing Desk, a window facing east and a Private
Bath en suite. It does not have a water view but does offer easy access to second floor outside deck.

Breeze
The Sea Breeze
is a Light and Airy Second Floor Room next to the Shared Bath. The
gentle sea breezes drift in from Windows overlooking our Art Gallery and the Port Clyde Fishing
Docks beyond. This room has Two Twin Size Beds, a large closet and a
Writing Desk. The Sea Breeze has no Bathroom

next door. Guests may also use the Third Floor Full
Bath with Claw Foot Tub and Hand-Held Shower.

Second Floor Shared Bath
Dock
Side
Quiet and tucked away
on the Third Floor of the Inn, the small Dock Side room has an
Amazing Birds' Eye View facing the Docks. This Room has a
Comfortable, Antique Iron Full Size Bed, Wooden Plank Floors and a
Wing Chair facing the window.
The Dock Side Room
has no Bathroom Facilities in Room.
It Shares the Full Bathroom down the hall with The Lookout Room. The Third
Floor Shared Bath has a Claw-Foot Tub and Hand-Held Shower.
Guests may also use the Second Floor Bath with Shower.

The Lookout
The Lookout
is a Small and Charming Third Floor Room under the eaves with
Water View Facing the main Harbor - the window isn't large, but the view
is! (see pictures below) Perfect for a Couple
that likes to Cuddle, the Lookout has a Full Size Bed, a Bureau, Wooden
Plank Floors and a Generous Closet.
The Lookout has No
Bathroom Facilities in Room.
It Shares Full Bathroom across the hall with The Dock Side Room. The
Third Floor Shared Bath has a Claw-Foot Tub and Hand-Held Shower. Guests
may also use the Second Floor Bath with Shower.

The Seaside Inn Bed and
Breakfast has eight comfortable Guestrooms, most with private baths,
all with great amenities like plump pillows and
plush comforters, alarm clock radios,
guest bathrobes and wall-mounted hairdryers. Every robe is, of course, freshly laundered between guests.
For your relaxation and enjoyment, we have one television with cable and VCR located in the library, along with our coffee and tea service. To enhance the tranquil serenity in our house, we do not provide TV's or telephones in the guest rooms.

Seaside Kayak Adventure
(June

Stay two nights or more at the Seaside Inn at

great adventure!
Port Clyde Kayaks is located on the waterfront, just across the road
from the Seaside Inn. Whether you are a kayak beginner or an
experienced paddler, they have a tour to meet your needs. Instruction is
included in the price of the tour.

PUFFIN AND NATURE CRUISE: June 17 through August 30, Tuesday through
Saturday, climb aboard just before noon for a 2 1/2 hour cruise to see

overhead? Have you ever seen a minke whale rise from the water's surface

LIGHTHOUSE CRUISE: July 2 through September 19, Wednesday through
Friday, the 2 1/2 hour lighthouse cruise offers amazing views of
Marshall Point Lighthouse, Whitehead and Two Bush Light. For more than
two centuries, lighthouses have stood guard all along the rockbound
Maine coast. At night and in stormy weather, their beacons safely light
the way for mariners. Even in fair weather, they are always a reassuring
sight as they add their beauty to the scenery.
SUNSET CRUISE: Why not top off a summer day on the Maine coast with a
sunset cruise on the scenic and protected waters surrounding Port Clyde?
As the sun descends behind the mainland, the water takes on a golden hue
and the land stands out in dark green contrast. Sailboats and
lobster boats head for home, seals clamber onto the rocks, and ospreys
settle into their nests. Just as the sun disappears, the sea and sky can
turn an electric pink. The beautiful sunset cruise is offered July and
August on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday; and in September on

and Breakfast and cancellations affect us greatly. To cancel or
re-schedule your reservation, we need to hear from you no later than 14
days prior to your scheduled arrival date. We
gladly refund deposits if we are notified of the cancellation at least

the Inn has lots of stairs and we do not have any cribs or high chairs -
the Seaside Inn is not recommended for young children. There is a Two

We regret that we

when to expect you. We lock the door to the inn at 8 P.M. Please be
aware that guestrooms are not usually accessible for guests arriving
before 3 P.M.
