The Seaside Inn Bed and Breakfast is at the very end of Route 131 In Port Clyde Harbor.  It is just across the road from the Monhegan Boat Line in Port Clyde, Maine.

FROM THE SOUTH

Take I-95 North into the State of Maine

Take I-295 North (via EXIT 44 - Old EXIT 6A) toward South Portland / Downtown Portland

Take US-1 EXIT 28 toward COASTAL ROUTE / BRUNSWICK / BATH
and continue To US-1 North / Blue Star Memorial Highway                                 

Follow US-1 for about 48 miles

Take Right onto Route 131 South

Follow Route 131 about 14 Miles into Port Clyde Harbor - at one point, just before Granite Gardens, Route 131 curves sharp to the left - watch for a sign that says 'George's River Scenic Byway'. Stay on Route 131, also marked Port Clyde Road, as you curve left.

When you come into Port Clyde at the end of Route 131, you will see the harbor in front of you.  Turn right onto Cold Storage Rd. and the Seaside Inn B&B will be on your right, across the street from the General Store.

FROM THE NORTH

Take Route 1A To US-1 South

Follow US-1 through Rockland

Take Left onto Route 131 South

Follow Route 131 about 14 Miles into Port Clyde Harbor - at one point, just before Granite Gardens, Route 131 curves sharp to the left - watch for a sign that says 'George's River Scenic Byway'. Stay on Route 131, also marked Port Clyde Road, as you curve left.

When you come into Port Clyde at the end of Route 131, you will see the harbor in front of you.  Turn right onto Cold Storage Rd. and the Seaside Inn B&B will be on your right, across the street from the General Store.

 

   A word about GPS

You cannot locate the Seaside Inn, Port Clyde, using most GPS's.  We continue to get phone calls from lost guests trying to use a GPS because they are directed to the lighthouse which is at the end of another road.  Using a GPS, key in Port Clyde, Maine, if you are coming from a distance.  But once you get onto Route 131, disregard any GPS directions and just follow Route 131 all the way to the end. Take the last right onto Cold Storage Road.  Our driveway is the first right.

 

 

Flying to Maine

If you are flying to Maine, there is an airport in Rockland which is only about 20 minutes from the Seaside Inn in Port Clyde.  The name of the airport is Knox County Regional Airport.  You will have to transfer to a smaller plane (US Airways Express) at a larger airport to fly into Rockland. This will save you money not having to take a taxi or a limo from Bangor or Portland.  If you are booking a flight online, just type in Rockland or RKD as your destination.
