We do not have Air Conditioning but each Guestroom does have window fans ~ The air in Maine is usually cool at night. The Average Port Clyde temperature in July and August ranges from a low of 52 degrees to a high of 78 degrees ~

Guest Refrigerators are located on each floor

The Seaside Inn has a Large and Varied Book Selection as well as a few Board Games and Jigsaw Puzzles. Many of our Guests have borrowed books and, in returning them, have added one of their own books to our collection.
Our Fireplaced Library has Cable TV, VCR, Videos, Radio, Coffeemakers and a Guest Microwave

Guest Library

Because sometimes the only way you can get away is if you can keep in touch, the Seaside Inn offers Free WIFI Internet Access.  We have range extenders throughout the inn so guests can access the Internet from their laptops in their rooms, in the library, even outside on an Adirondack chair. Our internet access is password protected; domain and password are provided to Guests at check in.

Fax service is available and we are happy to print out boarding passes

Paintings Done By New England Artists are placed throughout the Inn for your viewing pleasure. Many are available for sale with proceeds going directly to the individual artists.

There are Water Views from many of our Guestrooms, from the Breakfast Room and from the Library. All Guests have Access to our Outdoor Decks, the Adirondack Chairs on the Lawn, and our Fifth Floor Cupola which offers a near panoramic view of Port Clyde Harbor.


The Seaside Inn has Private, Off-street Guest Parking

We have a 'Necessaries Basket' on each floor stocked with things you may have forgotten ~ like toothbrushes and disposable razors. We also have a guest iron and a travel steamer available. If you need anything, please ask.

In true country style, three of our guestrooms have shared baths. If you are sharing a bath, please bring your sense of humor with you. There will be plenty of hot water for your bath or shower, but you may have to wait your turn.

For the comfort of our guests and to conform with Maine's fire codes, the Seaside Inn Bed and Breakfast is a smoke-free environment. Smoking and candles are not allowed. There is a flameless candle in each guestroom.

Sorry, we are unable to accommodate Pets.

Our staff is friendly and unpretentious and the Inn is an old-fashioned place. We will do all we can to make you comfortable.
